British retailer House of Fraser has also presented its S/S 2012 collection to the press a few weeks ago. And they were one of the many to embrace Britain’s symbols as a major trend, as I could see in the pieces designed by Michelle Mason. The designer is well know for her bold graphics as well as using Britain as an inspiration source in almost every collection she develops. Named linea, the collection for House of Fraser is quite large: from cushions, to glassware, tabletop and kitchenware. Sometimes, the reference to Britain is very subtle, other times it can be pretty obvious. Like it or not, 2012 is a massive year for Great Britain and this is already showing within the interiors market.
