Here we are, fall/winter season is almost over (even if the winter is not quite finished!), sales have started, and while everyone runs to the desperate search for the last super discounted item to use for a few weeks, with Fashion Week ready to begin to show us the trend of this autumn, we are oriented toward a closer future: spring/summer collections.
One of those that struck me and that I’ll wear even now is that of Maria Francesca Pepe.
“Amor Los Une” is a script that in Sixteenth century was engraved on the jewelry that lovers would share to promise each other love after death. The same phrase is now etched on the jewelry line of the Italian designer, and gives name to her ready to wear s/s 2011 collection. Essential lines, minimal clothing embellished with chains, crosses and body chains. Much black, not missing even in spring, and silver, one of the must-have for next season, enhanced by a floral pattern, which remains on the soft tones.
