Memories are something very personal, and can be connected or awakened by an object. In particular, photographs are the means of preserving the memory of a moment, to freeze it. But eventually become sterile pieces of paper stuffed in a dusty albums or, more likely, files lost in the maze of your PC. The artist/designer Lizzie Stacey decided to start from the photographs she takes to extrapolate details to be transformed into jewelry, so you can keep in the piece itself the memories associated with the picture, and make it ready to be shared with others. The techniques used range from wood and metal working to the particular use of Pennies that are etched to obtain pendants and brooches.
