If you missed the first chapter of the saga “Monica versus vintage ties” you can see the previous episode here.Today it’s the second round, and at this point I can admit it: I lost my ties while moving to my new house! And to think that designer Nicole Deponte began her activity almost by accident, just after having received two trashbags full of old ties. A few years later her brand Lilian Asterfield redefines the concept of classic tie, not just relegating it to the role of male accessory. Strictly made with recycled materials, Nicole’s creations are all unique pieces, handmade, halfway between the jewel and the simple scarf. Lilian Asterfield’s unusual ties can be purchased online at the Shop section of the site and on several other platforms (including Etsy and Supermarket).
