For the usual weekly column dedicated to Lithing Design, today we present a table lamp, or rather two, created by Mexican designer Ricardo Garza Marcos.
Original and well-designed concept, consisting of stylized forms made to portray with simplicity and extravagance a male figure (LightBoy) and a female (Lightgirl), respectively in walnut and maple wood.
With their shapes, these lamps seem to address and explore the classic dualisms, the one between man and woman or express feelings, or make us relive moods, such as love, loneliness, dependence, independence or perhaps more simply bring to “light” environments and the wonderful atmosphere that they will create.
