Les Envers S/S 2012 preview

We interviewed Sara Turatello, creator of “Les Envers”, just before Christmas, and now we introduce the preview of the new spring/summer 2012 collection, presented this week in Milan during Fashion Week. A more mature collection, that leaves the bows and the references to Mary Poppins that characterized the previous production, and prefers more sober shapes, but still with some humorous element, the focal point of the brand’s philosophy. Many pieces are made with a water repellent and stain-resistant fabric, playing with the inner lining with a splashed effect, such as stained, indeed, all hand painted. Even the “grill” texture with a nail polish like effect, are handmade. Precisely these are the pieces that caught my attention, in particular the two-tone black and white clutch purse and black bag with studs and golden decorations.
