Marie-Ambroisie GUYODO is a French artist, creative, fashion designer who experiments with art, design and fashion. The project “Human Tea” is a performance in form of short movie, which shows the richness and complexity of an act which repeats itself for centuries as a ritual: tea time. A trivial act, but with a high symbolic value, made of always the same gestures, codified and as frozen in time. Three acts in which three characters interact with each other, according to the rules required by this sort of ritual, in a sensory experience that brings them in contact and exchange. In the third scene the two girls involved are joined by a weave of threads, as united by the assumption of the beverage. An idea for an anthropological and narrative project, enhanced by eye-catching sets and costumes, unusual items and an interesting soundtrack, completely cured in all aspects by Marie-Ambroise herself.
