As mentioned in the post dedicated to “London Design Festival“, in the days ahead we’ll show you the ten designers known during our three days in London, whose works have fascinated us for elegance and creativity, generating curiosity with materials and innovative structures, or simply hit our immagination. Let’s start with the first, a thin and light wall lamp made of paper, characterized by the shape, classic and conventional, of the icon of the digital document. An object, with modern and contemporary style, which contains, perhaps, a hidden meaning, or rather a parallel between the house where we live our real life, and the computer where we spend the virtual one, the walls of the rooms looking like a “desktop” not only to be ordered, but also furnished. A concept seen among the works of young Korean designers in the KoreaDesign stand at the 100% Design, created by studio Design Virus, which, with their modus operandi, try every day, in a sort of daily challenge against the banality, to experiment and redefine matery, enhancing and transforming it into works of contemporary design.
