With this post I enter tiptoe into the world of architecture. For the first time I present a building instead of the usual designers or artists. I hope this will be the first of many posts of this type.
We begin in pure THE.closet style, introducing something very special and unusual: “Das Park Hotel”. Behind this rather trivial name (I no longer count how many “Park Hotel” I know) hides a hotel in Austria, in a beautiful natural park, whose rooms are made from old urban sewer pipes, cleaned and adapted to accommodate customers. The rooms are equipped with every comfort, including a double bed, sleeping bags, light and a security code can be activated through an electronic key. In addition, inside the park there are toilets with showers and a cafeteria. The pricing policy “pay as you wish” is very interesting: each customer pays what he wants or want he think is fair, just for some services there’s be a standard rate.
For those wishing to enjoy an alternative holiday, the hotel is active from May to October, and reservations are made directly on the site.
