Take a French designer, move her to southern Italy, and shake with a little bit of Japan. What do you get? The creations of Claire Quillier, who makes jewelry and accessories with Japanese fabrics, inspired by the knots of kimono’s Obi belts and Kanzashi flowers used in traditional hairstyles. Under the hands of Claire born earrings, brooches, bracelets, belts, but the things that strike me most, and to which she seems to spend most of her energies, are the small caps, also with oriental inspiration but with a distinctly French taste, suitable for ceremonies or to enrich your outfit with a whimsical touch. Claire Quillier’s creations are on sale on the dedicated Etsy shop.
