I don’t know a single person who has had the pleasure of visiting Buenos Aires and not falling in love with the city. I do have to admit, though, that the Argentinean capital needs some love: since my last visit 4 years ago it is dirtier and more chaotic, specially the city centre area. But the charm is still there. And sometimes you do ask yourself if you are really in South America or in Paris, London or even Berlin. Yes, Buenos Aires has a lot of European influence, and it’s possible to notice those as soon as you take your first walk around the main tourist points, like the area around the Obelisco and the Casa Rosada. Oh well, I could write a book about my husband’s home town, but this post is dedicated to a very, very cute shop situated in the neighbourhood of Palermo, the coolest of the coolest areas of the city: Casa Chic. The shop mixes fashion items with decorative accessories, but what really caught my eye was the arrangement, the decor, the visual merchandising. So delicate and powerful at the same time, as weird as this may sound. As you may know, elegant and nice shops like this don’t really like when visitors go around taking pictures, but I was lucky enough to not have been caught (naughty girl), so here are a few images of Casa Chic, a must visit shop in Buenos Aires!
