Pimp your Ikea

When we consider to buy low-cost furniture, the first name that comes to mind is Ikea, the world brand leader in the provision of furniture for home and office.
We know that to please an audience so large, they can’t be too creative with their colors and decorations, so if we must find a flaw in their furniture (apart from the difficulty in assembling, but maybe I’m not very skilled …) is the monochromatic colors and lack of customization.
And that is why is born “Mykea”, a great site where you can buy vinyl stickers, high-quality, tailor-made, to apply on Ikea bestsellers: the lines Expedit, Malm, Billy, Lack and Pax.
The illustrations printed on adhesive vinyl are a lot, divided by category (geometric, abstract, nature, pop, ect.), color and furniture model. The prices are very affordable, starting from 12 Euro and varying depending on size and choice of graphics.
Another interesting thing about the project Mykea is the possibility to participate as digital artists: in fact, through the subscription and download of the kit for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (which contains the template of the furniture sizes and dimensions), we can create the cover with our personal style and start earning with the commissions offered by the site.
