After a day full of creative inspirations, we wave hello and see you again on Monday, 24th. From tomorrow we will be in London for the Design Festival: prepare for a very rich report on our return, in the meantime you can follow us on
Twitter for live updates. Said that, we leave you with the amazing artworks created by the Mexican artist
Miguel Vega. “La Colección” is a series, that began in 2008, of oil paintings on canvas and charcoal on paper depicting, with exciting technical skill and superfine style, women wrapped in large cellophane bags. Works with different interpretations, a metaphor for success, where the plastic bag is intended as a showcase differentiating, fencing and at the same time isolating in a stuffy and quiet prison, or a worship of the package, where the dress transforms the perception and the image of ourselves in contemporary society, turning us into dolls and products to be exhibited.
